I am a CS Ph.D. student at the University of Colorado Boulder, advised by Prof. Mark Zhao and Prof. Sangtae Ha. I work on ML systems — currently cluster-wide checkpointing for multi-tenant LLM training — and systems for large-scale real-time video.

I am a co-author of eXpressSFU (USENIX NSDI ‘26) and DeepSFU (ACM SIGCOMM ‘26), which offload the media data plane of video-conferencing infrastructure onto SmartNICs/DPUs.

Before my Ph.D., I was a UK Chevening Scholar, and earlier worked as a DevOps engineer at Skyroom, Iran’s leading video-conferencing platform, operating production infrastructure through its ~100× COVID-19 scale-up.

I am looking for a Summer 2027 internship in ML systems / training infrastructure.
